Choosing a Party DressOne can’t simply deny the value of a great party dress, as everyone just loves to look glamorous. Semi-formal/Cocktail Parties: In this type of party, men should be wearing dark suits, white shirts, and silk ties. Women should wear a classic black dress, sparkling jewelry, and high heels. This kind of social gathering impels you to define your grace in a formal manner. White Tie Parties: There is a good chance that you won’t be able to attend these types of parties. Since, they usually honor visiting dignitaries, the pope, and etc. Even White House only hosts just one or two “White Tie” parties each year. Therefore, you can comprehend why it’s hard to be invited in them. But, albeit, somehow, all the stars turn in your favor, and you get the invitation, you have no choice but to wear exactly what it requires. Men have to wear a white bow tie and a white dinner jacket with tails. On the other hand, women have to wear a long dress with long white gloves. It should be like you’re dining with the Queen at the palace. Formal/Black-Tie Parties: For this party, men should wear tuxedo, and women should opt for the long dress. While choosing the dress for this kind of gathering, remember that, you’re walking on the red carpet at the Oscars. Consider Other Things As WellChoosing the party dress isn’t everything. For instance: Find the Perfect Color: Now that you have chosen the right party dress, you must be pondering the color that defines your best features. Well, there are online websites that can help you in this matter - based on your skin tone, hair and eye coloring. Besides, you can ask your family and friends as well. However, if you already have a great fashion sense, it won’t be a serious matter for you… Just remember, the color of the party dress is just as important as the dress itself. Consider the Fabric: You would probably get the best party dress with a lavish color at a very low cost, but if the fabric is of low quality, people would notice it immediately. Therefore, you would need to spend some extra cash to buy quality material, as it elevates your prestige. Don’t Worry About The Trends: You don’t need to worry about the trends at all. Just follow the above guideline, and you would probably end up with something great and impress everyone on a grand scale too. Keep the Season in Mind: Not something we need to explain in detail. When looking for a party dress, always keep the fact of the weather in your mind. Albeit you find something that is perfect for your body, it doesn’t mean it’s suitable according to the season. For instance: wearing something heavy and warm during summers would make the party worse for you, and wearing something airy and light during winters could paralyze you with the cold.
