We all like to stay in the loop of what is the latest trend and designer. Who wouldn't dream of going to every Fashion Week around the world? Right now, the fashion industry has a lot to talk about because there are many names being recognized, especially now with the fashion weeks. But from all designers and brands, only a few can be called the best. Alexander McQueen This British designer started to build his career in 1992 working on the famous Savile Row of London. There is where he became known after he got himself in some controversy after several situations. He was also one of the favorite designers of Lady Gaga, and he created many of the dresses and outfits she is most famous for. Unfortunately, he died in 2010, but his legacy was not forgotten. Sarah Burton, his right hand, took over his place and continues to produce beautiful French couture mixed with British tailored pieces. The brand is also very known for being one of the favorites of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. Rodarte The sister Kate and Laura Mulleavy founded the label together in 2005. They are very known for the attention they give to every detail on their dresses. One of the must surprising facts is that neither of them had any training in design. But they created such feminine and romantic dresses that people thought they did. The name of the label came from their mother's maiden name. Oddly enough, they have found inspiration for their dresses in Japanese horror films, but that has not stopped many Hollywood celebrities like Natalie Portman, Kirsten Dunst, Keira Knightley, Dakota and Elle Fanning and Cate Blanchett –among others– from wearing them. Diane von Furstenberg This designer native from Belgium got her big break on the fashion industry in 1972 when she created the famous wrapdress, it became an instant sensation and trend. And even now, we can still see different versions of the wrapdress in many runways. But now, wrapdresses are not the only pieces that Diane von Furstenberg designs. Her collections also include chic suits, fluid blouses, accessories, swimmer and luggage. Celebrities like Kate Beckinsale and Gwyneth Paltrow are just two of the many that have been wearing her designs. She got elected as the president of CFDA in 2006. Zac Posen He had a very different start in fashion from other designers. In 2001, he launched his first collection and it immediately caught the eye of many Hollywood celebrities. Then, he had his first runway show in 2004. He has also received a CFDA award. All his collections are known for being glamorous, well tailored and with dramatic details. Now he is a favorite whenever there is a red carpet in Hollywood. Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, Beyonce and Natalie Portman consider him a favorite. Prada This brand started as a family business in 1913 by Mario Prada, and now Miuccia Prada is the one who leads the worldwide famous design house. She is always one step ahead and never fails to amaze with the new designs in every runway. The name of the brand was even lent for the novel and movie "The Devil Wears Prada". Though the brand has been present since 1913, the first ready-to-wear collection launched in 1989. Giorgio Armani When people say his name the first thing that comes to mind is luxury, prestige and masterfully designed fashion; some consider him the Rolls-Royce of designers. He is one go the most successful Italian designers in history. And even though he doesn't speak English, he is a favorite among Hollywood celebrities. Some of those celebrities are Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Cate Blanchett, Jodie Foster and Penelope Cruz. Dolce & Gabbana This Italian fashion house was created by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. It is very famous for the sexy and woman-friendly cuts of their designs. They started their label back in 1985 in Milan; but it doesn't only design clothes. The house also includes handbags, shoes, sunglasses, fragrances and more. Some of the celebrities that like to wear Dolce & Gabbana's designs the most –especially for red carpet events– are Madonna, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lopez, and Kirsten Dunst. Their dresses are known for always being super stylish and glamorous. Marc Jacobs There is no season in which Marc Jacob's designs are not the ones that define the trend for that season. Lately, he has been one of the biggest influences is the fashion industry. You will never see a dull designs in one of his collections. He is always inspiring from the 40s to the 80s or whatever makes the designs colorful and unique. He launched his first collection in 1986 and then his second one, Marc by Marc Jacobs in 2001. But he is not only the head of the label, but he is the creative director of Louis Vuitton as well. Versace This Italian fashion label was created in 1978 by Gianni Versace, but now, it is overlooked by Gianni's sister Donatella; she is the creative director and is famous for all the sexy and glamourus over-the-top designs for clothing and accessories. Gianni died in 1997 and never saw the great success of Donatella, but still, the world has. If Versace is known for just one dress among all, it would be the one Jennifer Lopez wore to the Grammys in 2000. Céline In its very beginnings, Céline was just a custom shoe shop for children in Paris in 1945. But ayer in 1969, the founders, Céline and Richard Vipiana introduced a ready-to-wear collection. Ever since, the brand has evolved dramatically. Now –after Phoebe Philo became the creative director in 2008– the brand has gotten the most recognition that is possible. Tilda Swinton and Jennifer Aniston are just two of the many celebrities that wear the brand. And it would be an understatement to say that the Céline Luggage tote has caused madness for every fashion-conscious girl all over the world .
